Cultivating belonging through gardens, food, and herbal medicine
Nature-focused education and community for Earth-lovers yearning for a deeper sense of connection with life and responsibility for future generations. Weaving topics such as Earth reconnection, Permaculture, herbal medicine making, ancestral ways of being, holistic healing, and more.
Reconnecting with Gaia brings countless benefits to the health and well-being of all.
By deepening this vital connection, we unlock the power to heal our bodies, nourish our spirits, and restore damage done the Earth. Together, we can look towards new (or ancient) ways forward that emerge from our sincere reconnection with and humble learning from the land.
Despite all the disconnection and destruction of the last millenia…
the Earth continues to provide her abundant gifts.
We are not trapped on the path of extermination. We don’t have to continue the “Business as Usual” trajectory…
We can return to ways of living that are aligned with the patterns and rhythms of the Earth - like our bodies were built for - by re-membering ourselves to be a part of the sacred web of life, and re-weaving ourselves within it.
Here, we’ll learn from each other, and from our more-than-human kin (plants, animals, fungi, bacteria, earth, air, fire, water, ether…) about other ways of being.
“There is a world behind the visible surface of things which is pulsing vitality into our lives. It is the birthplace of dreams, the workshop of imagination, the source from which all creation arises and unto which the ancestors have returned. At any given moment, we are either turning away from or coming into congruence with our kinship with mystery. Only when we wrestle to keep the endangered language of beauty and sensitivity alive do we have a chance at becoming necessary to the urgency of our times.”
– Toko-pa Turner, Belonging: Remembering Ourselves Home
Earth Weavers is a global community with the intention of strengthening connections between those of us who have felt disheartened, grief, rage, hopeless, and helpless at the state of the world, but who continue to choose hope, gratitude, action of whatever form, learning, presence, humility, and a sense of loving awe and sacred reverence for the Earth.
